How to choose from a long watchlist in ReelRecs
Open Profile, find Bookmarks and use See all to recover your saved titles. Pick a small set, reopen each candidate and check its personal score, tonight’s time and current provider access. ReelRecs saves the options; this guide supplies a manual way to choose without implying that your whole watchlist is automatically organized for tonight.

Start where the saved titles live
A large watchlist can hide the reason you saved anything. Begin with the list you already have instead of opening another feed. In our recorded iPhone simulator walkthrough, the route was Profile → Bookmarks → See all. Profile had a separate Ranked section, so choosing the correct See all mattered.
The example used ReelRecs 1.0.43 on October 15, 2026 with an existing rated demonstration profile. Its Bookmarks screen contained Past Lives (2023), Logan, Paddington 2 and The Wild Robot. Your saved collection will reflect the titles you added.
Only Past Lives was reopened as part of this save-and-recover pass. It showed Rec Score 7.0 and a filled bookmark. Open the other candidates to read their current assessments in your account.
Use your actual list to make a small set
Before opening a film, decide tonight's non-negotiable limit. It might be a finish time, an available subscription, a content avoidance or another person's participation. Then choose a few saved options that could plausibly fit.
| Saved candidate | What the recording establishes | What to check before choosing |
|---|---|---|
| Past Lives | Saved, found in Bookmarks and reopened with Rec Score 7.0 | Whether its tone suits tonight and the provider currently offers it |
| Logan | Present in this example's Bookmarks | Your current personal result, runtime and content advice |
| Paddington 2 | Present in this example's Bookmarks | Your personal interest and current local access |
| The Wild Robot | Present in this example's Bookmarks | The exact title entry, your assessment and the viewing occasion |
Give an appealing film permission to wait
Reopen the candidate you are most curious about. Read the personal label and explanation, then inspect time and access. A movie can be a good personal prospect and unsuitable tonight. Keeping it saved preserves the opportunity without forcing the evening around it.
A low or missing personal result also does not require deleting the film. You might want to investigate it because a trusted person recommended it, because it offers something unfamiliar, or because you are choosing with someone else. Use the reason you saved it as context.
Resolve access before starting another search
Use Where to Watch, then confirm the current offer with the provider. A film that has left one service can remain on your list. Decide whether another offer is acceptable or whether to use a second saved candidate.
Avoid mistaking saving for a viewing log. In the recorded flow, the account stayed at 30 ranked titles while Past Lives was saved and reopened. The bookmark preserved an intention; it added no review.
Make the next return easy
At a regular choosing occasion, open Bookmarks first and assess a small set again. You can keep the routine weekly if that suits how you watch, but the app does not need a new reminder to make the list usable.
When a film no longer interests you, review its bookmark state deliberately. When you have watched it, record your actual reaction through the rating flow. Each action should describe something true: a future possibility or a past opinion.
