Start without an account

General recommendations, title search, U.S. audience charts and country-specific streaming offers are available without a ReelRecs login. The source date travels with the answer. Availability can change, and a suggestion is not a promise that you will enjoy it.

To improve answers, ReelRecs keeps tool requests, results and errors for 90 days. Your assistant may also send a brief report about a problem or its interpretation of your reaction. These reports can be wrong. Reporting and its controls depend on your assistant provider; you can ask the assistant not to send them. See the privacy policy.

Connect your taste

Personal connections are being tested before wider release. With your permission, ReelRecs can use your saved likes and streaming preferences, and leave out titles you have watched. Your assistant receives a short result; the connection cannot change your ratings or saves.

You can also allow an assistant to look up your saved ratings for titles you ask about, such as “Have I rated The Dark Knight, and what was my rating?” This needs a separate permission from recommendations. An unrated title may still be one you have watched.

You can disconnect an assistant at any time. A connected assistant handles the results under its own privacy terms. Read the ReelRecs privacy policy.

Add the connection

For public discovery, use an assistant that supports remote MCP, the standard that lets an assistant call a service. Add this server URL through its custom connector settings and choose no authentication:

Client features and account requirements vary. Personal access requires a supported ReelRecs connection and is not enabled by adding this URL alone. ChatGPT and Claude directory listings are still being prepared.
