The Broken Landlord
ComedyDrama101 min
Aga, a proud village landlord, watches his authority collapse as debt, drought, and changing times strip away the order that once kept everyone under him. Forced to leave the countryside for the city, he expects to rebuild his standing, but urban life gives him no special place and no easy way to survive. As he tries one scheme after another, his old habits turn into a source of comedy and humiliation, and the gap between who he thinks he is and what the world now demands keeps widening. Directed by Nesli Çölgeçen, the film follows his slide from local power to desperate reinvention.
