Feyzo, the Polite One

ComedyDrama100 min

Kemal Sunal is Feyzo, a poor villager whose hopes of marriage hit a wall when his beloved’s father demands an enormous dowry. In rural Turkey, what should be a private courtship becomes a running battle over money, custom, and family approval, with Feyzo forced to chase a sum far beyond his means. Opposite him, Müjde Ar is the young woman he wants to marry, caught in a system where fathers set the terms and the whole village seems to have a stake in the outcome.
