Maria Full of Grace
CrimeDramaThriller101 min
Pregnant and desperate for money, Maria is a Colombian teenager who agrees to work as a drug mule, carrying narcotics into the United States for her family. Catalina Sandino Moreno is Maria, a young woman pushed into the claustrophobic logistics of the trade: swallowing pellets, traveling under watch, and trying to stay calm through airports and customs. As she leaves Colombia on a flight bound for New York, the decision that promised quick cash pulls her deeper into danger, with family pressures, illegal immigration, and the threat of the trafficking ring closing in around every step.
