Land of the Bears
Documentary87 min
In the wilderness of the Kamchatka Peninsula, five wild brown bears are the focus as the film follows their daily lives through forests, rivers, and changing weather. The documentary stays with the animals at ground level, watching cubs keep up with adults, bears forage and fish, and routines shift with the demands of the landscape. Framed around the rhythms of the wild rather than human intervention, it builds its story from observation and movement in a remote region often described as a land of legends. Marion Cotillard and Cécile Corbel are among the film’s featured contributors.
