V for Vendetta
ActionAdventureDramaSci-FiThriller132 min
In a near-future Britain under fascist rule, a masked vigilante wages guerrilla war against the state after rescuing a young woman from the secret police. Hugo Weaving is V, hidden behind a Guy Fawkes mask and driven by revenge as much as revolution, while Natalie Portman’s Evey Hammond is pulled into his campaign against the government. As V’s attacks rattle the regime and its grip on daily life, Evey is drawn closer to the man beneath the mask and the larger uprising taking shape around him.
