Serenity
ActionAdventureSci-FiThriller119 min
Captain Malcolm Reynolds runs cargo and dodges the Alliance aboard the ship Serenity, until taking in fugitive siblings Simon and River Tam turns his crew into targets. Nathan Fillion is Mal, an ex-soldier scraping by on the outskirts of a tightly controlled future, while Chiwetel Ejiofor’s Operative closes in with calm, implacable purpose. As River’s psychic flashes point to something the regime wants buried, the crew is forced off the usual routes and toward the uncharted edge of space, where Reavers roam and danger is already on board.
