Leave Her to Heaven
DramaRomanceThriller110 min
Novelist Richard Harland (Cornel Wilde) thinks he has found the perfect partner when he falls for Ellen, a glamorous socialite who sweeps him into a quick marriage. Gene Tierney is Ellen, whose intense devotion to Richard hardens into possessiveness, then jealousy toward anyone else in his life. As the marriage closes in around him, Richard begins to see how dangerous her fixation can become. Told in flashback, the story moves from whirlwind romance to a household shaped by suspicion, control, and the threat of violence, with Jeanne Crain and Vincent Price among the people caught in Ellen’s orbit.
