Retired FBI profiler Will Graham is pulled back into the field when a killer known as the Tooth Fairy begins murdering entire families, forcing him to revisit the case that nearly ended him. William Petersen is Graham, a sharp investigator whose best lead may be the imprisoned Hannibal Lecktor; Brian Cox’s Lecktor hangs over the hunt from his cell. Directed by Michael Mann, the film moves through crime scenes, tabloid attention, and uneasy bureau politics as Graham tries to think his way into a murderer’s pattern without losing himself to it.
