Hello, Dolly!

ActionAdventureComedyMusicalRomance149 min

Barbra Streisand is Dolly Levi, a strong-willed matchmaker who heads to Yonkers to call on Horace Vandergelder, a miserly merchant with firm ideas about money and marriage. As Walter Matthau's Horace tries to arrange his own future, Dolly starts rerouting everyone else's, nudging his niece, her suitor, and Horace's two clerks onto a trip to New York City. Gene Kelly directs the Broadway hit as a bright, bustling screen musical, with Michael Crawford and Danny Lockin among the young romantics caught up in Dolly's carefully managed plans.
