Cactus Flower
ComedyRomance104 min
Dentist Julian Winston has been dodging commitment by telling his girlfriend he already has a wife and children, but the lie turns into a mess when he suddenly wants to marry her. Walter Matthau is Julian, scrambling to make his story look true, while Goldie Hawn’s Toni insists on meeting the wife she thinks she’s replacing before any wedding can happen. His answer is to recruit his nurse, Stephanie (Ingrid Bergman), to pose as Mrs. Winston, setting off a farce of invented marriages, crossed signals, and shifting romantic loyalties.
