Rosemary's Baby
DramaHorrorThriller138 min
A young couple moves into a notorious Manhattan apartment building to begin married life and start a family, but the new home quickly fills with unwanted attention and uneasy rumors. Mia Farrow is Rosemary, whose difficult pregnancy leaves her increasingly isolated, while John Cassavetes’s Guy, a struggling actor, seems more absorbed in his own fortunes than her growing alarm. Ruth Gordon and Sidney Blackmer hover nearby as the overfriendly elderly neighbors who keep finding reasons to insert themselves into the couple’s life. As Rosemary’s suspicions deepen, even the people meant to care for her begin to feel part of the same closed circle.
