The BFG
ActionAdventureFamilyFantasy120 min
When orphan Sophie is carried from London to Giant Country, she learns the giant who found her is the rare one she can trust. Mark Rylance is the BFG, a gentle outsider among much larger, man-eating giants, and Ruby Barnhill’s Sophie becomes his partner as danger in Giant Country begins to spill into the human world. Steven Spielberg adapts Roald Dahl’s story with towering landscapes, midnight streets, and a child’s-eye view of creatures both marvelous and frightening, building the bond between a lonely girl and the giant trying to keep her safe.
