Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children
ActionAdventureDramaFamilyFantasyThriller127 min
After his grandfather’s death leaves him with clues pointing to a remote Welsh island, teenager Jake uncovers a hidden refuge where children with unusual abilities are being kept safe from something hunting them. Asa Butterfield is Jake, drawn into a place that seems suspended in time, while Eva Green’s Miss Peregrine presides over the house with an air of strict protection. As Jake gets to know the peculiar residents — including Emma (Ella Purnell), whose gift sets her apart even there — the mystery around the home widens into a fight against creatures that have followed him out of family stories. Tim Burton directs.
