Dumbo

ActionAdventureAnimationFamilyFantasy112 min

In a struggling 1910s circus, a newborn elephant with oversized ears is treated as a laughingstock until those same ears let him fly. Danny DeVito’s ringmaster Max Medici hands Dumbo over to former star Holt Farrier, played by Colin Farrell, and Holt’s two children, who quickly see more than a novelty act. As the circus’ fortunes change, the flying elephant draws the attention of a polished entertainment impresario and a lavish new attraction that looks like a dream from the outside. Tim Burton’s version keeps the circus setting front and center, with bright spectacle shadowed by what’s happening behind the curtain.
