Edge of Darkness

DramaWar119 min

In a German-occupied Norwegian fishing village during World War II, ordinary townspeople live under constant surveillance as resentment builds toward the soldiers who control their harbor and homes. The occupation turns every routine act into a test of loyalty: neighbors weigh silence against resistance, and private grief starts hardening into open defiance. As pressure from the Nazis tightens, the village begins to organize in secret, hiding plans behind daily work and guarded conversations. Errol Flynn and Ann Sheridan are among the townspeople drawn into the uprising, where each move risks exposure and brutal retaliation. What unfolds is a community’s shift from endurance to revolt.
