Young history buff Kevin is jolted out of suburban boredom when six dwarfs burst from his closet carrying a stolen map to the holes in time. Craig Warnock's Kevin is swept into their treasure raids across history, crashing into encounters with Napoleon, Robin Hood and Agamemnon (Sean Connery) while the Supreme Being and the Evil Genius close in. Terry Gilliam turns schoolbook history into a scruffy chain of escapes, robberies and mythic detours, with familiar faces including John Cleese, Shelley Duvall and Ian Holm appearing in each new stop.
