Sarah Polley appears alongside him, with Eric Idle and Oliver Reed among the larger-than-life figures pulled into his stories. Terry Gilliam turns the old legend into a bustling fantasia of battlefield spectacle, theatrical invention, and tall tales told on a grand scale.
