On the way to Giacomo’s wedding, three friends head from northern to southern Italy carrying a dog and a priceless piece of modern art that looks exactly like an ordinary wooden leg. Aldo Baglio, Giovanni Storti, and Giacomo Poretti are the couriers at the center of it, sent by the bride’s overbearing father, who also happens to be their boss and, for two of them, already family. As the trip stretches on, the wedding deadline, the strange package, and the trio’s tangled ties to money and marriage turn the journey into a string of detours and complications.
