In a small American town at the height of the Vietnam War, two young men come of age as the conflict abroad turns neighbors, friends, and families against each other at home. What begins as teenage restlessness hardens into open resistance as they challenge local patriotism, face pressure from authority, and watch the draft bring the war to their own doorstep. Their friendships and family ties strain under the split between support for the war and anger at what it demands. Robert Downey Jr. and Kiefer Sutherland are at the center of a story about political awakening, small-town loyalties, and the cost of refusing to fall in line.
