The Turning Point
DramaRomance119 min
Years after their friendship hardened into rivalry, former dancers Deedee and Emma meet again in New York with very different lives behind them. Shirley MacLaine's Deedee left the stage for marriage and motherhood, while Anne Bancroft is Emma, now an international ballet star leading her own company. When Deedee's teenage daughter is invited to join that troupe and begins an affair with a young Russian standout, old jealousies surface again. The story moves between rehearsal rooms, dressing rooms, and family spaces as both women reckon with the choices that shaped their careers and the bonds they never fully left behind.
