CrimeDocumentaryDrama122 min
Christopher Wallace moves from Brooklyn street hustler to rap phenomenon as the film follows the making of the Notorious B.I.G. Jamal Woolard is Wallace, charting Biggie's early life, his breakthrough in hip-hop, and the pressures that come with sudden fame. Angela Bassett and Derek Luke appear in the circle around him as his music, image, and ambitions carry him from local corners into the center of New York's 1990s rap scene.
