The Guest
ActionAdventureMysteryThriller101 min
Still grieving the son they lost in combat, the Peterson family opens their home to David, a young soldier who says he served with him overseas. Dan Stevens is David, courteous, helpful, and quickly woven into the household, from the parents to their teenage son and daughter. But as unsettling accidents and deaths begin piling up around them, the Petersons’ daughter Anna (Maika Monroe) starts to suspect their guest is not who he claims to be. What begins as a gesture of sympathy turns into a tense standoff between a grieving family and a stranger who knows exactly how to make himself indispensable.
