Keller Dover is a Pennsylvania father whose world collapses when his young daughter and her friend vanish after Thanksgiving dinner, leaving behind one thin lead: an RV seen on the street. Hugh Jackman is Keller, who grows more frantic as Detective Loki (Jake Gyllenhaal) pursues a case built on scraps and a suspect he can’t hold. As the official investigation stalls, Keller starts pushing past the limits of law and judgment, turning a neighborhood search into something harsher and more dangerous. Denis Villeneuve directs a kidnapping mystery that stays close to the panic, suspicion, and pressure bearing down on both families.
