Johnny Guitar
DramaRomanceWestern110 min
On the outskirts of a frontier town, Joan Crawford is Vienna, a saloon owner whose place draws drifters, outlaws, and Dancin’ Kid’s gang. When a robbery in town ends in a man’s death, Vienna’s rival Emma Small (Mercedes McCambridge) turns suspicion into a vendetta, stirring the townsfolk against the saloon without proof. Into the standoff rides Sterling Hayden’s Johnny Guitar, a former gunslinger and Vienna’s lover, caught between her defiance and the threat gathering outside her doors.
