My Darling Clementine

DramaRomanceWestern103 min

After one of their brothers is killed and their cattle stolen near Tombstone, the Earp brothers stay in town to settle the score. Henry Fonda is Wyatt Earp, taking on the badge of marshal in a 19th-century Arizona outpost where the line between lawman, gambler, and gunfighter keeps shifting. Victor Mature's Doc Holliday enters the picture as an uneasy ally, with old loyalties and private troubles of his own. John Ford shapes the story around the mounting conflict in Tombstone, using black-and-white streets, saloons, and open frontier space to build toward the legend of the O.K. Corral.
