Last Action Hero
ActionAdventureComedyFamilyFantasy131 min
After his father's death, movie-obsessed Danny Madigan is handed a magic ticket that drops him inside the world of his favorite action franchise. Arnold Schwarzenegger is Jack Slater, an indestructible Los Angeles supercop who treats explosions, one-liners, and impossible stunts as everyday police work. When Benedict (Charles Dance), a sharp-suited assassin from Slater's movie, gets hold of the ticket, the danger spills out of the screen and into the real world. Inside Slater's universe, Danny has to navigate a place built on action-movie logic, from endless car wrecks to a cartoon police cat.
