Total Recall
ActionAdventureSci-Fi113 min
Construction worker Douglas Quaid can't shake his fixation on Mars, so he visits Rekall, a company that implants fantasy memories, and leaves with his own past suddenly in doubt. Arnold Schwarzenegger is Quaid, jolted into a violent chase when the procedure appears to unlock something buried and strangers start treating him like a dangerous man. On Mars, Rachel Ticotin's Melina connects him to the colony's resistance, while Sharon Stone's Lori belongs to the life he can no longer trust. Directed by Paul Verhoeven, the film builds a 2080s future of corporate control, mutant underclasses, and one lingering question: whether Quaid is recovering the truth or living inside a manufactured one.
