Elf
ActionAdventureComedyFamilyFantasyRomance97 min
Raised at the North Pole after crawling into Santa’s gift sack as a baby, Buddy grows up among toy-making elves knowing he doesn’t quite fit. Will Ferrell is Buddy, a human in elf clothes who heads to Manhattan as an adult to find his biological father. There he crashes into a world far removed from Santa’s workshop, including James Caan’s Walter, the workaholic dad who’s firmly on Santa’s naughty list. Between family awkwardness and Buddy’s unshakable belief in Christmas spirit, the story turns a father-son reunion into a fish-out-of-water comedy split between the North Pole and New York City.
