The Nightmare Before Christmas
ActionAdventureAnimationFamilyFantasyMusical76 min
Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town, grows bored with the annual scare routine and becomes fixated on Christmas after discovering a brighter world beyond the graveyard. With Chris Sarandon voicing Jack and Danny Elfman supplying his songs, the stop-motion musical follows Jack’s botched plan to take over Santa’s job by delivering eerie gifts to children. Catherine O’Hara’s Sally, a rag-doll outsider who sees the disaster coming, tries to stop Christmas from turning into a holiday of monsters, toys, and kidnapping.
