A Christmas Story
ComedyFamily94 min
In early-1940s Cleveland, 9-year-old Ralphie wants one thing for Christmas: a Red Ryder B.B. gun, and he spends December trying to persuade his parents, his teacher, and Santa that it belongs under the tree. Peter Billingsley is Ralphie, trudging through snowy schooldays, tangling with a neighborhood bully, and hanging his hopes on a department-store Santa visit. Melinda Dillon and Darren McGavin are the parents at the center of the household, while Ralphie’s campaign spills into classroom essays, holiday errands, and the small comic crises that pile up as Christmas gets closer.
