Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky

ActionAdventureAnimationComedyCrimeDramaSci-FiThriller92 min

In 2001, after correctional facilities have been privatized, martial artist Ricky is sent to prison when a corrupt system finds him guilty of killing a notorious crime boss. Louis Fan is Ricky, entering a world ruled by corrupt authority and punishment by force, while Fan Mei-Sheng and Ka-Kui Ho appear among the prison’s looming figures. The movie turns its prison setup into comic-book carnage, mixing martial-arts brawls with grotesque injuries, splatter effects, and a streak of pitch-black humor.
