The Edukators

ComedyDramaRomance127 min

Jan and Peter spend their nights breaking into the homes of Berlin’s wealthy, moving the furniture around and leaving notes signed by “the Edukators.” Daniel Brühl is Jan, the more uncertain half of the pair; Julia Jentsch’s Jule enters the picture as a student crushed by debt, with a personal grudge against a businessman she owes money to. When a mistake at his house forces the group back to the scene, their political prank spirals into a kidnapping plot, with their anti-capitalist convictions colliding with fear, class anger, and the shifting bonds between the three friends.
