Knockin' on Heaven's Door

ActionAdventureComedyCrimeDrama87 min

Martin and Rudi meet in a hospital room after learning they’re both terminally ill, then decide over a bottle of tequila that they have to see the sea before they die. Drunk and still in pajamas, they steal a sleek 1960s Mercedes convertible and head out on the road. The problem is that the car belongs to gangsters, and there’s more in the glove box than the pistol Martin finds. Jan Josef Liefers and Thierry van Werveke lead the two would-be runaways, with the film turning their dash for the coast into a chase full of bad timing, criminal trouble, and last-chance detours.
