Drumline

ComedyDramaMusicalRomance118 min

Harlem drummer Devon arrives at Atlanta A&T sure his raw talent will put him at the front of the school’s celebrated drumline, but the discipline of a Southern marching band hits harder than he expects. Nick Cannon’s Devon clashes with the section’s established leader as rehearsals, rankings, and campus rituals test whether skill alone is enough. Zoe Saldana moves through Devon’s new world of parties and rivalries, while Orlando Jones adds authority around a program that treats every performance like a public proving ground. The film stays close to the rhythm of practice, competition, and college life built around the band.
