Arnold Schwarzenegger is Julius, an unusually sheltered product of a genetic experiment, raised on a remote island to be strong, educated, and relentlessly polite. In Los Angeles, Danny DeVito’s Vincent has grown into his opposite: a fast-talking hustler dodging loan sharks and scraping by on petty schemes. Separated at birth and told nothing about their family, the mismatched brothers collide when Julius goes looking for the mother they were told was dead. The comedy comes from their blunt physical contrast and from Julius entering a city — and a brother — he’s completely unprepared for.
