The Sandlot
ComedyDramaFamily101 min
In the summer of 1962, a shy new kid lands in California’s San Fernando Valley and gets pulled into the neighborhood baseball games played every day on a dusty sandlot. As Scotty tries to keep up with a tight-knit group led by Benny, the field becomes the center of the season: friendships form, rivalries flare, and every afternoon turns into another small test of nerve and belonging. Then a prized baseball signed by Babe Ruth sails over the fence into the yard everyone fears, guarded by the legendary “Beast.” What starts as a simple mistake turns into a long, improvised mission to get the ball back without losing much more than the game.
