The Last Starfighter

ActionAdventureSci-Fi101 min

Lance Guest is Alex Rogan, a trailer-park teenager whose talent for an arcade game called The Last Starfighter turns out to be an audition for something much bigger. After he lands the top score, Alex is whisked to another planet and told the machine was a test built to recruit pilots for an alien defense force. Robert Preston’s Centauri, the smooth-talking stranger behind the game, pulls him into a world of starfighters, android doubles, and an interstellar war that feels very far from his everyday life back home.
