After the Thin Man

ComedyCrimeMystery112 min

On New Year's Eve, Nick and Nora Charles are pulled back into sleuthing when Nora's cousin reports that her disreputable husband has disappeared. William Powell is Nick, a former private detective, alongside Myrna Loy's Nora, whose family connection lands them in a tangle of nightclub owners, a singer and her dark brother, a forsaken old love, and a domineering aunt. The case moves through society gatherings and late-night haunts as the couple sorts through a crowded field of suspects, with James Stewart among the figures orbiting the missing man.
