I Stand Alone

CrimeDramaThriller93 min

Fresh out of prison, a butcher tries to rebuild his life after brutally attacking a man who approached his teenage daughter. Philippe Nahon is the Butcher, a volatile, isolated father who places his daughter in an institution and moves to the Lille suburbs with his mistress (Frankie Pain), expecting the fresh start she has promised him. When that future collapses, he leaves for Paris to find the daughter he abandoned. The film stays close to his point of view as resentment, humiliation, and revenge crowd every decision.
