Homer Simpson’s latest blunder contaminates Springfield’s lake, and the fallout is enormous: the EPA seals the entire town under a giant glass dome and turns the Simpsons into public enemies. Dan Castellaneta is Homer, still charging ahead with terrible judgment while his family scrambles to deal with the consequences. Julie Kavner’s Marge tries to hold the household together as Bart, Lisa, Maggie, and the rest of Springfield get caught in the chaos. Albert Brooks adds an officious government villain to a story that scales the show’s small-town satire up to disaster-movie proportions.
