The Electric House

Comedy23 min

A college mix-up sends botany student Buster into electrical engineering, and Buster Keaton’s deadpan graduate soon lands a job wiring a brand-new house. The home is packed with electric gadgets, mechanized conveniences, and even a moving stairway, all meant to show off the latest modern wonders—until the systems start tangling with each other. With Virginia Fox woven into the household commotion, Keaton builds the comedy out of precise physical timing, malfunctioning machines, and one escalating domestic disaster after another as the demonstration spins further out of control.
