After causing the car accident that leaves his daughter blind, a surgeon turns guilt into obsession, kidnapping strangers and removing their eyes in hopes of a successful transplant. Richard Basehart is the doctor at the center, pushing past every ethical limit as his methods grow more extreme. Gloria Grahame and Trish Stewart are among the people caught in the orbit of his attempts to restore his daughter’s sight. The setup leans hard into 1970s exploitation horror, mixing medical panic with abduction, crude surgery, and an unblinking fixation on eyeballs and gore.
