It Started in Naples
ComedyDramaRomance100 min
Philadelphia lawyer Mike Hamilton travels to Naples to settle the estate of his estranged brother and finds a complication he never expected: a young nephew being raised by Lucia Curcio. Clark Gable is Mike, a buttoned-up American navigating the bustle of Naples and Capri, while Sophia Loren’s Lucia is a nightclub singer with her own claim on the boy’s future. What starts as family business turns into a custody fight, with Mike pulled into a household, a city, and a way of life far removed from the one he left behind.
