After his father abandons the family, Autumn Moon drops out of high school and starts collecting debts for the Triads in 1990s Hong Kong. Sam Lee is Moon, a teenager whose rounds bring him to Ping (Neiky Hui-Chi Yim), the daughter of one debtor, and the two fall into a fragile romance as she faces a fatal kidney disease. Trying to cover her medical costs, Moon accepts an assassination contract that pulls him deeper into the criminal underworld, while a figure from his past keeps haunting the edges of the story.
