Prison on Fire
ActionAdventureComedyCrimeDramaThriller101 min
Tony Leung Ka-fai is Lo Ka Yiu, a young ad designer sent to prison on a manslaughter charge and quickly caught between corrupt wardens and triad-linked inmates. Inside, Chow Yun-Fat’s Chung Tin Ching, a seasoned prisoner with hard-won standing, takes Lo under his wing. As Lo’s problems spread through the cellblocks, Chung keeps stepping between him and the prison’s entrenched factions, drawing the attention of the prison’s head of security. Inside the walls, daily routines are shaped by intimidation, shifting loyalties, and sudden eruptions of violence as Lo learns how little protection the system offers.
