Catch Me If You Can

CrimeDrama141 min

Before he turns 19, Leonardo DiCaprio’s Frank Abagnale Jr. has already passed himself off as a Pan Am pilot, a doctor, and a prosecutor, cashing forged checks across the country while staying one step ahead of the law. On his trail is Carl Hanratty (Tom Hanks), the FBI agent who turns Frank’s shifting aliases into a personal pursuit. Steven Spielberg builds the story around airports, bank counters, hotel rooms, and recurring Christmases, as Frank keeps moving and reinventing himself. Christopher Walken and Nathalie Baye appear as Frank’s parents, grounding the run of scams in the family life he keeps leaving behind.
