Blow

CrimeDrama124 min

George Jung grows up in a struggling 1950s family and decides he will never live broke. Johnny Depp is George, who starts dealing marijuana in 1960s California, lands in jail, and comes out with a new plan: move cocaine from Colombia into the United States. By the 1970s and 80s, that hustle has become a major trafficking pipeline, with Penélope Cruz and Paul Reubens among the people in his increasingly unstable orbit. Blow follows George from small-time dealer to one of the biggest importers in the American cocaine trade, always circling back to the family history that shaped his choices.
