Frédéric is a married professional in Paris, settled into a bourgeois routine with his wife Hélène, a teacher expecting their second child, while privately daydreaming about the women he passes each day. Bernard Verley’s Frédéric keeps those thoughts at a distance until Chloé (Zouzou), the former mistress of an old friend, begins dropping by his office. What starts as irregular afternoon visits becomes a charged friendship that tests the boundaries of his carefully ordered life. Moving through offices, cafés, and apartments, the film follows small conversations and quiet decisions as flirtation turns into a moral dilemma.
